The cottage has a holiday let compliant hot tub, parking for 2 cars, a garden, patio and a train viewing area right next to the North York Moors heritage railway line with lovely views of the countryside. Trains can be viewed directly from the hot tub!

The cottage benefits from being just 1 mile from the ancient market town of Pickering which provides an excellent choice of local shops, cafes, pubs, restaurants and two small supermarkets.

Dogs welcome, owners tolerated!

The North York Moors is a great place for dogs and their owners to holiday. There are numerous walks from the door of the cottage and many more just a short drive away. A bonus is that most of the pubs and cafes allow dogs too.

We are dog friendly and allow up to two well behaved furry friends to enjoy their holiday in this amazing location. Doggy welcome packs are provided along with bowls and blankets. There is a charge for each dog of £10 per night.

Right on the steam heritage line!

This picture shows the garden’s proximity to the line. This is private with the exception of travellers and holiday makers making the most of the steam trains running the picturesque countryside route from Pickering to Whitby.

There is a four seat table on the patio and a two seat bistro table on the decking area which looks right along the line. The passing trains can be seen from all areas of the garden.
